This Midwestern classic was a go-to for family dinners. They’re made with ground beef base, cream of mushroom soup, and some crispy tater tots on top. It’s a budget-friendly meal when you need to stretch the budget until the end of the month. For many, the sight of this bubbling tater tot casserole today will bring you back to your childhood dinner table.

Lefty, the four-fingered glove mascot, was a sight that’s buried deep in our minds. He’s from the Hamburger Helper that was introduced during the 1970s, but became a staple in the 80s and 90s kitchens. It’s a one-pan meal solution with just ground beef and a box of Hamburger Helper. You can even create a Cheeseburger Macaroni to Stronaoff for dinner, which is best for busy parents.

This is one frozen food icon for a quick snack or during movie nights. The Stouffer’s French Bread Pizza is made of a crispy French bread crust, bringing a twist to your traditional pizza. It offers your basic toppings, including cheese, pepperoni, or deluxe. You may remember this snack for its notoriously hot temperature brought by the cheese and sauce.

This casserole may hold memories of weeknight dinners in your household. It features simple ingredients of egg noodles, canned tuna, and a cream of mushroom soup. For many millennials, Chi-Chi’s was their introduction to Mexican-American cuisine. It’s a casual dining chain with a festive environment and baskets of warm tortilla chips dipped in salsa. It’s a famous chain for families and celebrations with its menu of Tex-Mex classics like chimichangas, fajitas, and their popular Mexican fried ice cream. 

3. ShowBiz Pizza and Chuck E. Cheese

Before those aesthetically pleasing birthday parties, there was ShowBiz Pizza and Chuck E. Cheese. They were animatronic pizza parlors where the ’80s and ’90s kids had their birthday parties. The place features a combination of pizza, arcade games, and a creepy animatronic band that was long buried in our memories.
